To kick-off the newly founded TUM Georg Nemetschek Institute Artificial Intelligence for the Built World (GNI), we are hosting an international symposium with leading researchers in the field. The symposium will be held as a virtual event across three consecutive afternoons from April 20th to April 22nd. It will give a broad overview of current research, in particular on the opportunities, visions, and expected impact of AI on the construction sector.

Welcome speaker will be Prof. Thomas Hofmann, president of Technische Universität München, and Prof. Georg Nemetschek, founder of the GNI.

Keynote speakers will be: Martin Fischer, Ian Smith, Eleni Chatzi, Timo Hartmann, Frédéric Bosché, Burcu Akinci, Mani Golparvar-Fard, Burcin Becerik-Gerber, Markus König, Jerome P. Lynch, Rafael Sacks, Jennifer Whyte.
