The chair of computational modeling and simulation provides a public access to its pedestrian simulator framework MomenTUM. The simulator war developed under the lead of Dr. Peter M. Kielar and links modern concepts of computer science with our in-depth background in microscopic pedestrian simulations.

The simulator enables research groups to rapidly develop and analyze pedestrian behavior models. This is enabled by the generic, extensible, and modular software architecture of the framework. Thus, MomenTUM is a perfect platform to research on new but also well-known behavior modeling approaches from the field of pedestrian dynamics.

Details regarding MomenTUM can be found on the chair’s homepage and on GitHub.
